Debut with Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra & Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla

Feng makes his debut with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra on 2, 3 and 4 June, joining the orchestra for three performances at the Hessischer Rundfunk Sendesaal. Feng performs Bruch Scottish Fantasy under the baton of Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla.

The concert follows Ning Feng’s critically-acclaimed recording of Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester:

“Ning Feng’s sensitivity bears fruit in a deeply poetic account of the introductory section to the Scottish Fantasy, his delicate, lonely presence contrasting beautifully with the solemn, gloomy orchestral setting. And he’s in his element with the virtuoso high jinks of the Scherzo and finale, tossed off without turning a hair.” Gramophone

Later in the month, Feng will also debut at the Schubertiade on 23 June with Igor Levit, Nils Mönkemeyer, Daniel Müller-Schott and Janne Saksala.
